人と動物の関係性や動物福祉などの問題意識をテーマに制作しています。このような暗いテーマを和らげ人々に関心を持ってもらうため、動物を可愛らしく描くことを心がけています。浮世絵などに描かれたゆるいかわいさがある動物のように、日本人が昔から持つ独特なかわいさの感覚をさらに進化させながら描いていきたいです。
